1. Maps of the archaeological excavations in East Jerusalem and the West Bank
For the first time, a searchable map recording archaeological sites in the West Bank and East Jerusalem is available on the web. The map also has a Google Maps interface.
The maps provide a source of information on surveys and excavations conducted under Israeli license in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, from 1967 to 2007. It encompasses nearly 6000 archaeological features and 1600 excavations.

2. Information about the book: Israeli Archaeological Activity in the West Bank 1967–2007: A Sourcebook
by Raphael Greenberg and Adi Keinan
This publication provides the first unified source of information on surveys and excavations conducted under Israeli license in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, from 1967 to 2007. It encompasses nearly 6000 archaeological features, 1600 excavations, and 1000 referenced publications. Derived from published and unpublished sources, the database provides as full an account as possible, within the authors’ limitations, of the extent of archaeological knowledge accumulated by Israeli research since 1967 in the occupied territories. Prepared under the auspices of the Israeli-Palestinian Archaeology Working Group, it is an important source of information on the cultural inventory of the Central Highlands of ancient Israel/Palestine and a contribution to the ongoing project of recording and mapping the deep history of the Near East.

3. Upcoming Tours
The archaeological tour “From Shiloah to Silwan” offers a unique experience of the “City of David” archaeological site located in the Palestinian village of Silwan in East Jerusalem.
This is an unusual tour because along with an introduction to the archaeological splendor of the site, it also introduces the visitor to the role of archaeology in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and its impact on the residents living near the site.
The tour is guided by an archaeologist and village residents.

The English tour will take place on Friday, January 22; at 1 pm
The Hebrew tour will take place on Saturday, January 15; at 1 pm

לאחרונה עלתה לרשת מפה אינטראקטיבית המאפשרת חיפוש אתרים ארכיאולוגיים ברחבי הגדה המערבית ומזרח ירושלים בין השנים 1967 – 2007. המפה מלווה בפירסום מדעי הכולל פירוט של מקורות המידע להכנתו. המחקר, בראשות רפי גרינברג מאוניברסיטת תל-אביב ועדי קינן מאוניברסיטת לונדון, מרכז מידע על למעלה מ-6000 אתרים סקורים וכ-1600 חפירות שנעשו בהרשאת ישראל בשטחי הגדה ומזרח ירושלים.

הספר הוא פרסום ראשון ויחיד מסוגו הכולל מידע על החפירות והסקרים הארכיאולוגים שנעשו במזרח ירושלים והגדה המערבית בין השנים 1967-2000. הפרסום כולל כמעט 6000 אתרים, 1600 חפירות והתייחסות לכ-1000 פרסומים. מאגר הנתונים מספק את המידע הרב ביותר שניתן היה להשיג, בהתאם להגבלות הרשויות.

הסיור הארכיאולוגי “משילוח לסילוואן” מציע ביקור יחודי באתר הארכיאולוגי “עיר דוד” אשר בכפר הפלסטיני סילוואן שבמזרח ירושלים. הסיור עוסק בעושר הארכיאולוגי של האתר “עיר דוד”, במקומה של הארכיאולוגיה בסכסוך הישראלי-פלסטיני ובהשפעה שיש לארכיאולוגיה על התושבים החיים במחיצתה.
סיור בהדרכת ארכיאולוג ותושבי הכפר יתקיים:
