<description>I spent the Academic year 1977-78 studying Historical Geography in israel/Palestine. There were very few checkpoints, no Wall and many healthy neighbor like relationships between Isreaelis and Palestinians. I lived/studied on MT Zion at the Bishop gobat School just outside the Old City wall.

As a citizen of Burlington VT and an attender of Burlington Friends Meeting, I have a great desire to help people of Gaza who were burned by the phospherous bombs of Operation Cast Lead by traveling to the United States for reconstruction surgery. Constructive input and support is greatly appreciated.

People here in Vermont and the USA need to know how discussions and interactions about the Israeli/Palestinian questions are happening in the Middle East today. People may want to visit VTJP.com to find out what Vermonters are doing at a Grassroots level.

Salaam/Shalom,
